Qualifications

• Completion of Nurse Aide Training Program or experience in nursing assistant duties is preferred.
• RN and LPN Nursing Students must have completed basic nursing skills course with clinical experience within their curriculum.
• Post graduate LPN or RN will be eligible to work as a non licensed employee performing only tasks delegated to a non licensed nursing employee.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing nursing care of patients by working cooperatively with other team members in maintaining standards of care in the clinical setting.
• Their frequent contact with patients assists the nurses in utilizing the nursing process.
