Job summary

Arbor Care Centers in Nebraska is seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to join our caregiving team in long-term care and assisted living settings. You will perform direct resident care under licensed staff, document care activities, and help residents maintain comfort, safety, and dignity according to care plans.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) in good standing with the state.
• Must maintain current CNA certification throughout employment.
• Must achieve 12 hours of in-service education annually.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Must maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company information.
• Must relate professionally and positively with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident care duties under supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Use and maintain facility equipment.
• Maintain residents’ rooms neat, orderly and clutter-free.
• Ensure residents are given correct diet.
• Support residents’ participation in activity programs.
• Respond to residents' and families' needs and concerns within scope.
• Ensure residents’ privacy (visual and auditory) is respected.
• Provide resident care as directed by care plan and nursing staff.
• Assist residents toward their highest practicable level of functioning.
• Participate in collecting data for the MDS and plan of care.
