Job summary

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills is seeking a compassionate CNA for night shift (7pm-7am) to support nursing care on a medical unit. You will assist with admissions, daily patient care, and discharge preparation, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and efficient flow of information to the licensed staff.

Under RN supervision, you will maintain rooms, transport supplies, and respond to patient calls, with an emphasis on respectful communication and adherence to privacy policies

Qualifications

• Patient care experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• CNA license and BLS are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Perform routine patient care tasks under supervision.
• Maintain patient rooms and supplies, including linens and equipment.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the nurse in charge.
• Ensure patient safety and confidentiality at all times.
• Respond to calls and notify staff as needed.
