Job summary

The Village At Germantown in Germantown, TN is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct care to residents, support activities of daily living, assist with the plan of care, and document care in the resident records.

This position requires a current Tennessee CNA license, CPR certification, ability to read regulations and records, and strong communication; the role includes assisting residents with mobility, meals, hygiene, and daily activities while promoting dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Assistant with a current State of TENNESSEE license.
• CPR Certification.
• Must be able to read regulations and patient records and write clearly.
• Must be able to communicate in a courteous, friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Assistance may range from total to partial to stand by depending upon resident’s abilities.
• Assist residents in and out of bed and chair with the correct mechanical lift.
• Rotate assignments daily including bath aide, hall trays and meals.
• Assist residents in dressing, grooming and maintaining neat appearance.
• Support hygiene, peri care and bathroom needs; manage bedpans and bedside items.
• Take vital signs and document information accurately.
• Assist in dining area or in-room meals; document nourishment intake.
• Maintain clean bedside areas, linens, and care supplies.
• Promote residents’ privacy, independence and participation in activities.
• Communicate promptly with team leader and participate in mandatory trainings.
