TalentBurst is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for onsite work in San Juan Capistrano, CA. This 3+ month contract features night shift hours (Thu-Mon 8pm–4:30am) and a pay range of $63.23–$69.55 per hour. You will perform complex tests, manage reagents and controls, ensure data accuracy, and participate in QA activities.

Required are a BS in medical technology with CA CLS license and 0–3 years of lab experience. Likely benefits and an on-site work environment are provided by TalentBurst.

Qualifications

• BS in medical technology or life/physical sciences.
• Current CA CLS license.
• Zero to three years direct laboratory experience.

Responsabilités

• Independently perform moderate to highly complex clinical tests.
• Prepare reagents, media and controls; evaluate new reagents.
• Assess specimen acceptability and calculate results.
• Enter results accurately and monitor reporting timelines.
• Evaluate test results and respond to critical values appropriately.
• Maintain calibration, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Perform QC/calibrations and evaluate results for release.
• Document proficiency testing and corrective actions when needed.
• Communicate with staff and management to ensure quality.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and proper labeling of materials.
• Assist with training and participate in QA meetings.
