Qualifications

• Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (California) is required.

Responsibilities

• Upholds Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures; ensures confidentiality of tests.
• Performs and reports test results for all clinical laboratory procedures in the department.
• Demonstrates proficiency and understanding of fundamental laboratory principles with minimal supervision.
• Monitors quality control, QA, preventive maintenance and proficiency testing.
• Troubleshoots equipment and test methods; communicates irregularities to supervision.
