Job summary

Responsibilities

• Consults with healthcare providers and/or supervisor regarding specimen procedures and instrument function checks.
• Investigates and troubleshoots problems with equipment, procedures, specimens, reagents and workflow.
• May assist in teaching Clinical Laboratory Science students, residents, and new employees.
• May monitor daily operation of a clinical service or program.
• May participate on teams or perform special projects/assignments.
• Performs specimen processing procedures with quality control and equipment maintenance.
