Qualifications

• High School Diploma required and 18+ for phlebotomy.
• Phlebotomy/CLA certification as defined by state regulations.
• Depend on department/location; valid state driver's license may be required.
• Basic computer skills and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist technical lab staff with collection, receipt and processing of specimens.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and ensure proper labeling.
• Perform waived and/or limited moderate complexity testing as allowed by CLIA.
• Follow policies, procedures and regulatory requirements; maintain safety standards.
