Job summary

UNC Health Nash Hospitals is seeking non credentialed Clinical Helpers to provide basic hands-on care for hospitalized patients. You will assist the nursing team as a trainee teammate, supporting patient needs and daily nursing tasks in a dedicated unit.

Position is full-time, onsite with a night schedule, and located in Nash County. Prior PCA experience is preferred; BCLS certification is required on hire; High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Experience as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bathe

• Apply and remove restraints (soft wrist and mittens)
• Complete CHG baths
• Perform Foley maintenance care
