RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Clinical Care Technician (CCT) for the Medical-Surgical Unit-I at RWJ Hamilton. You will assist Registered Nurses with hands-on care, vital signs, mobility, and daily living activities to support patient comfort and safety.

This night-shift role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a current BLS certification; CNA experience is preferred. You will document in EHRs, follow infection-control protocols, and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNA experience or CNA certificate preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs with vital signs, mobility and daily living activities.
• Provide bedside care and support for patient comfort and safety.
• Monitor and report patient conditions and changes to the care team.
• Document accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
• Follow infection-control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with nurses, doctors and therapists as part of the care plan.
• Contribute to patient care from admission to discharge.
