Job summary

Winchester Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a Clinical Associate for an evening, 16-hour weekly schedule. You will assist with activities of daily living, reposition and ambulate patients, transport supplies, and perform basic care tasks under a nurse's direction.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification. CNA or nursing student with clinical rotation, or equivalent healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• CNA, nursing student with clinical rotation, or equivalent healthcare experience.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Reposition and ambulate patients.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds.
• Transport patients, beds, supplies and equipment.
• Collect, label and transport specimens.
• Retrieve and sign out blood products.
• Perform point-of-care testing.
• Obtain vital signs and weights.
• Maintain accurate intake and output measurements.
• Remove Foley catheters and saline locks.
