Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Quality Inspector in Hillsboro, OR to perform visual, mechanical, dimensional, and functional inspections of materials and products throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring production lines are stocked and ready for operation.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and English proficiency, good manual dexterity, and prior inspection/assembly experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• General inspection/assembly/production experience preferred.
• Ability to perform four-function math.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Good manual dexterity and visual acuity.
• Basic computer skills and data entry.
• Understand and interpret work instructions and inspection documentation.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual inspections to identify defects.
• Operates and monitors automated production equipment.
• Monitors machine output to meet defined standards.
• Performs go/no go dimensional inspections with inspection tools.
• Enters inspection data into CALI and/or SAM.
• Reads game plans and Kanban cards to determine parts and models.
• Delivers parts to production line and maintains line stocks.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and follows safety procedures.
