Job summary

Kitchen Guard is seeking a Night Shift Kitchen Cleaning Technician for our New Haven, CT location. You will power wash kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ductwork, filters and exhaust fans, while ensuring efficient site setup and teardown and independent work performance.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to climb ladders, and the capability to stand for long periods. We offer paid time off, advancement opportunities, and a competitive hourly rate of $18.00–$20.00.

Job Overview

As a Night Shift Kitchen Cleaning Technician at our Kitchen Guard of New Haven CT location, you'll be at the heart of our operations.

Responsibilities Include

• Power washing kitchen exhaust systems, covering hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans.
• Efficient setup and takedown of job sites and equipment.
• Performing tasks independently without direct supervision.
• Maintain and manage equipment, and report any discrepancies.

Physical Requirements

• Be physically able to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments.
• Ability to squat, lift, and carry 50 lbs., a minimum of 100 feet.
• Able to stand for 10 hours at a time.
• Have excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
