Job summary

FCC Environmental Services is seeking a 3rd Shift Supervisor – Cleaning Technician in Dallas to lead a four-person Cleaning Technician crew, ensuring the MRF stays clean, safe, and efficient. This hands-on role assigns priorities and supports facility operations.

You'll supervise, train, and coordinate with Maintenance, operate forklifts and scissor lifts, and maintain shift records, safety incidents, and performance metrics while promoting teamwork and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial, manufacturing, facility, or MRF cleaning experience.
• Supervisory, lead, or crew leader experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts and scissor lifts; certifications preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials; physically demanding work.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a crew of four Cleaning Technicians on assigned shifts.
• Assign daily cleaning tasks and monitor performance.
• Coordinate cleaning priorities with Maintenance Team.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and guidelines.
• Conduct safety briefings and on-the-job training.
• Operate forklifts to move debris and maintain clean work areas.
• Utilize scissor lifts to access elevated areas and clean underside equipment.
• Inspect work areas and report issues or maintenance needs.
• Maintain records of shift activities and safety incidents.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
