Job summary

ABM in Washington state is seeking a reliable Lead to supervise facility operations, delegate tasks, and guide team members when the Manager is not present. The Shift Leader ensures clean, safe environments and assists with janitorial duties and special equipment as needed.

This role requires 18+ with no diploma required and preferred 1 year of lead or supervisory experience and customer service; a valid driver's license helps.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• 1 year of similar work experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and route cards as directed.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Maintain open communication between field employees and management.
• Assist with daily and weekly work schedules and oversee cleaning operations.
• Manage keys, access cards, and report damaged items.
• Oversee and perform additional service requests in the building.
• Ensure quality and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Train new hires per onboarding procedures.
• Complete time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
