Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL issued by the state.
• 2+ years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• No preventable safety incidents in the past 2 years (Safety & Compliance review).
• Clean driving record with no serious violations in the past 3 years.
• Must meet DOT & FMCSA qualification requirements.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate winches during loading.
• Proficiency with a 10‑speed transmission; outdoor work in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure, transport, and offload vehicles between stores, auctions, vendors, and logistics hubs.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery to maintain inventory flow and customer satisfaction.
• Operate equipment with safety, efficiency, and cleanliness; maintain a clean truck/trailer.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections per DOT and CarMax standards.
• Maintain accurate DOT logs and documentation.
• Represent CarMax professionally with vendors, store associates, and the public.
• Follow all company and federal safety regulations to minimize risk.
