Job summary

Mars Wrigley in Elizabethtown, PA is seeking a Machine Operator to join the manufacturing team. You will be part of a shift-based environment, operating equipment, and ensuring efficient production of Dove chocolate.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 1+ year manufacturing experience, and proficiency in MS Office and email. The job offers starting pay around $24.10 per hour plus a $1.50 shift premium, with 12-hour shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in MS Office and e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Performs activities and job tasks within a manufacturing line or area.
• Operates equipment and changeovers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Takes corrective actions in solving problems to root cause level.
• Able to assess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs, adjustments, and malfunction troubleshooting.
• Performs and/or works with Maintenance to complete equipment preventative maintenance (PM).
• Performs quality control (QC) tasks such as metal checks, inspection of date codes, item numbers, dump logs, etc.
• Maintain accurate records of quality check and keeps detailed logbooks.
• Any ad hoc tasks
