Job summary

Capital Resin Corporation in Columbus, OH is seeking a Chemical Operator for the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) to help meet production schedules in a 24/7 chemical manufacturing environment. You will monitor batch processing, adjust variables, and participate in daily huddles focused on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include measuring and mixing chemicals, ensuring safety, recording batch data, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Chemical manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 55 lbs.
• Read and interpret technical documents.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor batch in process and adjust as needed.
• Measure and mix chemicals per formulas.
• Monitor and adjust temperature, pressure, flow.
• Enter batch data accurately and meet cycle times.
• Perform quality checks and address issues.
• Operate and monitor processing equipment safely.
• Stage raw materials and label finished products.
• Maintain clean work area and follow PPE protocols.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
• Other duties as assigned.
