Job summary

Quaker Houghton PA, Inc. is seeking an entry-level production operator to follow batch sheets, operate equipment and support 12-hour night shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule.

You will unload raw materials, prepare vessels, fill containers, and ensure accurate documentation in JDE for on-time production. You will label, palletize and ship products, load/unload various transport modes, maintain a clean work area, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret batch sheets, SOPs and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment in a safe, efficient manner and in accordance with training and work instructions.
• Prepare mixing vessels, pumps, and hoses for unloading; inspect containers for cleanliness and integrity.
• Fill containers per batch tickets, label, palletize and wrap for shipment; complete work orders in JDE.
• Store and stage inventory; assist in tracking material inventory and perform counts.
• Load/unload box trucks, flatbeds, tanker trucks, and rail cars; move materials with or without equipment.
• Complete shipping duties in JDE, initiate shipments, and communicate delays to OTC; arrange UPS and FedEx shipments.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report spills or leaks; participate in site safety initiatives.
• Operate forklifts and other motorized equipment safely; support safety and quality procedures.
