Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Current Georgia RN license; BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, and handles shift operations.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands arise.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to appropriate leaders.
• Serves as a resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
