Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside in Georgia is seeking an experienced Charge RN for MedSurg to coordinate quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle. The role requires strong communication with leaders and staff, and flexibility to address census-driven needs.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure in GA, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and oncology/infusion certifications as applicable, with 1 year hospital experience and a preferred bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (Required).
• 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting (Required).
• 2+ years of nursing experience in a hospital setting (Preferred).
• GA State Licensure and/or multistate licensure required (RN).
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) Required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during the shift.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
