Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management seeks an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse to oversee nursing care at our Lovington, NM facility. This role includes shift leadership, staff mentoring, and ensuring quality outcomes for residents during the 7PM-7AM shift.

Sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits available. Responsibilities include admitting and discharging residents, coordinating care plans, administering medications, and ensuring regulatory compliance under the Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LVN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the daily nursing functions in accordance with Company, State, Federal and local guidelines.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents with appropriate documentation.
• Mentor and direct nursing staff; provide education and support.
• Coordinate shift assignments and resident care to ensure quality outcomes.
• Administer medications and ensure orders are followed; monitor for changes in condition.
