Job summary

Loma Linda University Health is seeking a Charge Nurse-Inpatient for the Med/Surg Unit on the night shift. This role provides clinical supervision, coordinates patient flow, assigns staff based on acuity, and ensures staffing coverage for nights and holidays.

Responsibilities include maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting staff development through the CAP, and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment at the Murrieta campus.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license.
• BSN or higher required or in progress; MSN considered.
• Minimum three years nursing experience in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision of licensed and unlicensed staff on shift.
• Coordinate daily unit operations to ensure patient flow and safety.
• Prepare staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage for nights and weekends.
• Promote accountability, empowerment and excellence in nursing practice.
