Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Des Plaines, IL is hiring a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a full-time night shift. Earn $33.50–$45.09 per hour with base pay and opportunities for shift differentials, plus a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include respiratory therapy procedures and diagnostic tests under medical direction, with potential lead responsibilities during shifts. Eligible candidates have required licensure and BLS/ACLS certifications and preferred acute care

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• BLS certified from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS from the AHA or ARC certification upon hire and maintain current or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Two years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician, with emphasis on assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of care.
• In the absence of a supervisor, may be identified as Lead RCP, with responsibility for the section or department during their shift.

Education

Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent required
