Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL seeks a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join the Cardiopulmonary / Respiratory Therapy team. This full-time night-shift role (3x12s) offers base pay of $33.50–$45.09 per hour, with opportunities for shift differentials and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• State Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate on hire and maintained.
• 2 years experience as an RCP preferred.
• ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• NRP certificate preferred.
• PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and pulmonary therapy per physician orders.
• Manage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management.
• Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis.
• Conduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and patient assessments.
• Implement patient-specific care plans.
• Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Serve as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor.
• Respond to critical care situations and emergencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
