Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a compassionate caregiver for a full-time night shift role. You will prepare rooms, orient new admissions, assist with patient transfers, and maintain EMR documentation.

This position emphasizes patient safety, communication with families and staff, and upholding a clean, secure environment for care delivery. Required are a high school diploma and BLS, with preferred CNA/EKG experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms for admissions and orient patients to rooms.
• Transfer patients with assistance and ensure safe handling.
• Document intake, vitals, weights, and care in policy-compliant EMR.
• Collect and label specimens and send to lab as required.
• Communicate changes in patient status promptly to the care team.
• Serve as liaison between patients, families, staff, and clinicians.
• Maintain accurate records and unit census; respond to call lights.
• Keep environment clean, safe, and supportive for daily activities.
