Arnot Health’s Skilled Nursing unit in Taylor, NY is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide for evening/night shifts. The role involves delivering routine nursing care to residents aged 16 and over under supervision, with duties ranging from daily care to documenting assessments.

A Nursing Aide certification is required, CPR/BLS within 90 days, and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $28.00 per hour, with a 20 hours per week schedule and nights.

Qualifications

• Nursing aide certification is required.
• If hired without certification, must complete the requirements for nurse aide certification within 120 days.
• Heartsaver CPR required within 90 days of hire date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire date

Responsibilities

• Follows work assignments and/or schedules and completes tasks per policy and procedure as directed by the Professional Nurse.
• Records all entries on flow sheets and documentation in electronic form; reports accidents and incidents as they occur.
• Promotes resident comfort and delivers routine nursing care.
• Assists with carrying out the Resident Assessment and participates in Care Plan conferences.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident equipment and rooms in accordance with standard precautions.
