Job summary

Morrow County Health District in Heppner, OR seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for a full-time night shift. The CMA provides nursing care, coordinates care with nurses and clinicians, and supports patients across inpatient, outpatient, swing bed and ED settings.

• Must be currently licensed in Oregon.
• Must have BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients within CMA scope of practice.
• Collaborate with nurses and clinical staff to coordinate patient care.
• Work in multiple hospital areas including Inpatient, Outpatient, Swing Bed and ED.
• Maintain excellent interpersonal communication with physicians, patients and families.
