Job summary

Schnucks is seeking a center store clerk to deliver friendly service and maintain organized, clean shelves. You will handle stocking, pairing with deliveries, and ensuring shelves reflect accurate shelf tags in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery departments.

The role requires reliable attendance, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort working in cold environments. Training is provided at store level, with opportunities for employee discounts after qualifying period.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance is essential for the role.
• Stock and rotate product on shelves in multiple departments.
• Read and understand shelf tags to ensure correct placement.
• Operate manual and powered equipment safely as trained.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery.
• Process incoming product from warehouse and vendors.
• Read shelf tags and sort damaged product for credit.
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves, backroom, and cold cases.
