Job summary

Schnucks is seeking a store teammate to provide friendly customer service and assist with stocking, merchandising, and receiving duties. The role involves handling shelf tags, maintaining clean displays, and following safety guidelines in a cold, fast-paced grocery environment.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work 4–8 hour shifts, and maintain attendance. Training is provided at store level, with opportunities for growth and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is beneficial.
• Ability to stock and rotate products efficiently.
• Follow safety guidelines and operate equipment as trained.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves.
• Process incoming product from the warehouse and direct store delivery vendors.
• Read and understand shelf tags.
• Sort damaged product for credit.
• Operate a hand jack and power lift; baler usage where required.
• Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, lifts, and baler.
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, and freezers.
• Maintain company productivity standards.
