Job summary

Traffic Management Solutions is seeking a CDL Operator in Fort Lauderdale, FL to safely transport construction materials nationwide. You will operate flatbeds, dumps, and tractor-trailers, perform pre-trip inspections, load/unload cargo, and maintain DOT logs.

The role requires a valid CDL A or B, clean driving record, 2+ years of experience, and compliance with safety standards. Nights shifts, strong teamwork, and reliable communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B as required by vehicle type.
• Clean driving record with no recent major violations or accidents.
• 2+ years professional driving experience, preferably in construction or heavy equipment transport.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
• Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles (flatbeds, dumps, tractors-trailers) to transport construction materials and equipment to job sites.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips for safety and mechanical condition.
• Load and unload cargo, verify against delivery orders, report discrepancies.
• Maintain logs of hours, inspections, and deliveries per DOT regulations.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and site supervisors to meet delivery schedules.
