Job summary

Traffic Management Solutions is seeking a CDL Operator in Fort Lauderdale, FL, to transport construction materials and equipment across the United States. The role requires strict adherence to safety rules, inspection routines, and timely deliveries.

You will work nights, coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors, and assist with light installation tasks on projects as needed. A valid CDL and a clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B and clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport construction materials and equipment.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips for safety and compliance.
• Load/unload materials, verify against delivery orders, report discrepancies.
• Maintain logs of hours and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Communicate with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate delivery schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance and report defects.
• Assist with installation of structures and related components on construction projects.
