Job summary

The Boring Company is seeking a Lead Driver to manage the nightshift CDL driving team and oversee intrastate operations, including flatbed and dump truck work. You will coordinate routes, monitor performance, and mentor drivers to maintain safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include directing nightshift activities, conducting pre-trip inspections, and liaising with management to ensure smooth handovers and timely project progress. CDL Class A is required.

Qualifications

• Commercial Driver License Class A is required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid US driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen.
• Willingness and ability to work consistent night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the nightshift CDL driving team.
• Oversee inter-site movements of trucks and equipment.
• Coordinate driver assignments, routes, and job-site activities.
• Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and ensure safety.
• Mentor new drivers and promote safety and accountability.
• Promote teamwork and clear communication with management.
• Directly supervise nightshift operations and handovers.
