Job summary

The Boring Company is seeking a Lead Driver to manage the nightshift CDL driving team and oversee safe, efficient movements between intrastate job sites. You will lead field operations, coordinate assignments, and mentor drivers to uphold safety and company standards.

Qualified candidates have a CDL Class A, a high school diploma or GED, and a clean driving record, with ability to pass a DOT drug screen and work consistent night shifts. Prior lead experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the nightshift CDL driving team, ensuring safe, timely movements between intrastate job sites.
• Serve as the primary field leader for assigned drivers.
• Provide direction and assistance to drivers during regular operations.
• Coordinate driver assignments, routes, trucks, and job-site activities.
• Communicate schedule changes and operational instructions to drivers.
• Monitor driver performance and report issues to management.
