Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a Night Shift Outside Grease Technician to service commercial grease trap systems for restaurant and grocery accounts across the region. The role involves operating vacuum trucks, pumping and maintaining traps, and troubleshooting issues to keep operations running smoothly.

The position requires a valid CDL Class A or B, a minimum of one year of commercial driving, the ability to pass DOT tests, and the willingness to work outdoors, nights, and overtime with a

Qualifications

• Must have CDL A or B with clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving after CDL school.
• Pass DOT drug screening, medical certification, road test, and physical.
• Comfortable working independently outdoors in all weather.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer and mobile device skills.
• Ability to read maps, safety documents and service instructions.
• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vacuum trucks and equipment at customer locations.
• Drive to and from job sites while following DOT regulations.
• Pump, clean, and maintain grease trap systems.
• Inspect grease traps for buildup, damage or safety concerns.
• Troubleshoot issues and report findings to customers and management.
• Prepare trucks, hoses, tools, and equipment before service calls.
• Complete service paperwork accurately and on time.
• Respond to emergency or after-hours service calls as needed.
• Follow all safety and service protocols.
• Wear required PPE and work safely at all times.
• Participate in on-call rotations, overtime, and weekend/holiday work.
