Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking an Outside Grease Technician to service commercial grease trap systems for restaurant and grocery accounts. The role is outdoors, physically demanding and requires a valid CDL Class A or B with a clean driving record.

You will operate vacuum/pump/tanker trucks, follow DOT regulations, troubleshoot issues, and provide safe, reliable service. We offer overtime, weekend work, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read maps, safety documents, and service instructions.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Basic computer and mobile device skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vacuum/pump/tanker trucks and equipment at customer locations.
• Drive to and from job sites while following all DOT and traffic regulations.
• Pump, clean, and maintain commercial grease trap systems.
• Inspect grease traps for buildup, damage, or safety concerns.
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate findings with customers and management.
• Prepare trucks, hoses, tools, and equipment before service calls.
• Complete service paperwork and reports accurately and on time.
• Respond to emergency or after-hours service calls when needed.
• Follow all Wind River Environmental safety and service protocols.
• Wear required PPE and work safely at all times.
• Participate in on-call rotations, overtime, weekends, and holiday work as needed.
