Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time CDL A Driver / Highway Maintenance Technician to operate the Mobile Barrier Wall unit and transport heavy equipment.

The role is primarily night shift in Broward and Miami-Dade County, FL, with duties spanning highway maintenance, debris removal, street sweeping, and related tasks. Candidate must hold a CDL A and have extensive tractor-trailer experience; preferred experience includes MOT certifications, roadway maintenance, and concrete

Qualifications

• Requires a CDL A and 10 years of tractor-trailer experience.
• Operates heavy equipment and performs highway maintenance tasks.
• Maintains background and driving record per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive Mobile Barrier Wall unit (73 ft wall, up to 84 ft) and transport heavy equipment.
• Perform night-shift highway maintenance tasks including debris removal, street sweeping, and vegetation control.
• Repair signage, guardrails, and perform concrete repair and delineator work; RPMS activities included.
