Job summary

Kobe Aluminum Automotive Products Llc is seeking a Casting Foreman for the night shift to oversee the casting floor, ensure safety, quality, and adherence to standard work while coordinating training and changeovers.

The role requires leadership in an automotive setting, experience with CNC machinery, crane and forklift familiarity, ability to read English, follow instructions, and enter data into QAD, while promoting 5S and inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years leadership experience in automotive environment.
• Experience with CNC machinery or similar environment.
• Crane and forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment operates within specified parameters.
• Manage Machining associates.
• Ensure all team members have proper PPE in good condition.
• Communicate schedule requirements and production targets.
• Prioritize jobs/tasks per Supervisor directions.
• Observe Machining changeover tasks for accuracy.
• Promote safe work procedures per KAAP rules and regulations.
• Ensure quality checks are performed on time and correctly.
• Enter data in QAD.
• Inventory control.
• Promote 5S activities throughout the Machining department.
• Monitor cycle times.
• Report any issues to Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as required.
