Job summary

Vanderbilt Health seeks a dedicated Care Partner/ Nursing Assistant to assist in patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This PRN Night Shift role includes 12-hour shifts and orientation during the first weeks.

Ideal candidates show flexibility, strong communication and teamwork, with a background in hospital environments. High school diploma or equivalent required; RN student or CNA training certificate preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Enrollment in RN program or Nursing Assistant training certificate.
• At least 1 year' experience as Care Partner/NA/PCT.
• Flexible availability and strong communication/teamwork.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with day-to-day delivery of patient care.
• Facilitate efficient, safe patient care and flow by following area standards.
• Serve as liaison for communication and education of patient and family needs.
• Support unit operations by maintaining supplies, equipment and environment.
