Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and one of the following: RN program enrollment with first-semester completion, or Nursing Assistant/Aide Training within the past year, or at least one year of recent care partner/NA/PCT experience.
• Current enrollment in an RN program with successful completion of the first semester (including fundamentals clinical).
• Graduation from a Nursing Assistant or Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate of completion required).
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as a care partner, nursing assistant, or patient care technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Support day-to-day patient care delivery and maintain unit environmental standards.
• Facilitate safe patient flow by following area procedures and communicating needs to the nursing team.
