Responsibilities

• Surveillance of patient cardiac rhythm status and telemetry indicators.
• Notifies physician and/or registered nurse of changes in the ECG pattern.
• Monitors multiple patients' continuous ECG and parameters (PR interval, QRS duration, QT interval, heart rate and rhythm).
• Obtains relevant patient background information and documents accurately.
• Checks inventory of supplies to ensure necessary stock is available.
