Job summary

McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center in Oregon seeks a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Unit on the nights shift. You will provide total patient care for adult ICU and telemetry cardiovascular patients in a tight-knit, collaborative team.

The position is part-time, on-site, with an 1900–0730 schedule and an hourly base rate of $50.96–$84.15. Oregon RN licensure, BLS, ACLS (within 6 months) are required; BSN/CCRN encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Oregon.
• BLS required; ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• BSN/CCRN encouraged.
• 2 years of critical care experience preferred; ICU training within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Total patient care for adult critically ill and telemetry cardiovascular patients.
• Recovery of immediate post open-heart, cardio-thoracic and vascular surgical patients.
• Management through hospital stay to discharge from a one-stop unit.
• Manage Pre and Post PCI patients, AMI, cardiogenic shock, rhythm disturbances.
• Assist with cardiac procedures such as cardio versions, TEE, pericardiocentesis, pacemaker implants.
