Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Floor Technician at Vermont State University Castleton Campus. The role is part-time with overnight shifts and a pay range of $18.00–$24.00 per hour. You’ll perform floor care, carpet cleaning, trash duties, and light maintenance to ensure a safe, clean campus environment.

Ideal candidates are reliability-driven with at least 1 year of related experience and a willingness to train others. The position offers a supportive work culture and opportunities for growth within Sodexo.

Qualifications

• 12 months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
