Sodexo is hiring a Floor Technician to join our overnight team at the Vermont campus. You will perform comprehensive floor care, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, and carpet care, ensuring a clean and safe environment.

The role emphasizes reliability and teamwork with a flexible part-time schedule on the Castleton campus. Responsibilities include cleaning surfaces, assisting on training, and maintaining high hygiene standards while supporting campus operations and client

Qualifications

• Team-oriented and adaptable; reliable with a focus on safe, healthy environments.
• 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and carpet care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attend shifts on time with regularity.
