Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh Greensburg Facilities Management & Operations is seeking a Maintenance Services I - Cleaner for the night shift to maintain a safe, clean campus environment. Duties include general housekeeping, floor care, restroom upkeep, and supporting events with setup/tear-down on campus.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years of cleaning experience preferred, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and to work Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred.
• PA Act 153 clearances and background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub and wax floors; machine shampoo carpeting.
• Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, washing windows and restrooms; replenish supplies.
• Assist in loading/unloading, move heavy boxes and equipment; set up areas for events.
• Respond to emergencies and after-hour calls; lift up to 50 pounds.
