Job summary

Piping Rock Health Products, INC is seeking a Bulk Material Handler to move products to supply department needs while following SOPs and GMPs. The 3rd shift runs Sunday through Thursday from 11:00pm to 7:30am.

You will operate material handling equipment, load/unload trucks, and organize materials in storage or staging areas. Strong English reading/writing, basic math, and computer skills are required, with a focus on safety and attendance.

Qualifications

• Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training.
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Bi-lingual is a plus
• Prior manufacturing or packaging experience preferred
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Proficient computer skills and strong math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages, averages).
• Physical effort – ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to write simple correspondence in English
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including the ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist, pull, push, and reach for up to 8 hours
• Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens

Responsibilities

• Operates material handling equipment independently as well as within a team environment
• Load and unload the trucks
• Organizes and maintains materials and other components in storage or staging area
• Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
• Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs
• Disposes of cardboard boxes and garbage
• Other duties as assigned
