Job summary

Intel Corporation in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Facilities Chemical/Gas Technician to support and optimize chemical and gas systems essential to semiconductor manufacturing. You will oversee operations, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot to ensure safety, reliability and efficiency.

The role requires collaboration with engineers and cross‑functional teams, hands‑on work in clean rooms, and adherence to PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• HS/GED or higher non‑semi degree AND 6+ years relevant experience or relevant military technical experience; OR Associate degree or higher STEM Related to semi. Mfg. (MET)/STEM (operator) AND 3+ years maintenance experience
• Proficiency in analytical chemistry techniques, including sample preparation and analysis.
• Knowledge of laboratoryInstrumentation and technical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges using critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Partners with engineers, technicians, manufacturing customers, and support teams to sustain reliable bulk chemical delivery operations across Intel’s Arizona Ocotillo campus.
• Perform routine operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and project support on bulk chemical delivery equipment and associated facility systems.
• Use approved quality and maintenance management systems to document work, review equipment history, interpret process data, identify abnormal conditions, and support timely issue resolution.
• Operate and verify analytical instrumentation and preventive excursion management controls in accordance with documented procedures, specifications, and change‑control requirements.
• Monitor CIMPLICITY, SCADA and related control systems, evaluate alarms and trends, and use analytical data to diagnose equipment or process issues and elevate risks appropriately.
