Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Building Engineer (Certified or Non-Certified) to support daily operations of building systems and respond to customer requests. The role covers HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems, with duties including basic carpentry and coordinating with multiple teams.

The position offers union benefits and a pay range aligned with certification level. Schedule options include overnight shifts Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, with weekly pay described as hourly

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience.
• Engineering skills applicable to a range of systems and engines.
• Customer service experience.
• BOMA Certified or not is OKAY.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering support for a wide range of systems, maintenance programs and engines.
• Responds to customer requests and closes work orders as necessary.
• Coordinates work with other operational groups to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Reviews service bulletins and develops solutions and implementation plans.
• Manages priorities and ensures deliverables for projects and maintenance programs.
