Job summary

nVent is seeking team players to support construction activities at the Hitchcock, TX site. You will assist journeymen in assembling buildings and installing components, cut materials, and ensure insulation is properly handled.

You will use various power tools and hand tools, follow safety standards, and contribute to project execution. Ideal candidates have construction experience, can lift heavy materials, work at heights, and adapt to weather variances.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or similar field.
• Experience handling and installing construction components.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights; endure varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeymen in assembling buildings and installing components (HVAC units, windows, doors).
• Cut materials with construction tools and install insulation with care.
• Layout cutouts and install panels, following industry standards.
• Work with power and hand tools; maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Be available for 2nd shift and overtime as needed.
