Job summary

Central Market, a division of H.E.B., is seeking a Production Specialist in Austin, TX with availability for days, evenings, and weekends to handle fresh ingredients and production tasks.

Under supervision, you will mix, shape, bake, wrap, and stock products; ensure quality control and sanitation; maintain back storage, freezer, and production areas; read daily production lists; assist customers with questions and orders; monitor shrink and manage inventory records as required.

Qualifications

• Requires 2–5 years of related experience.
• Experience with commercial production preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible with days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Mix, shape, bake, wrap and stock products.
• Ensure quality control of all products before sales floor.
• Maintain sanitation in the department.
• Maintain organization of back storage, freezer, walk-in and production area.
• Read and execute daily production lists.
• Assist customers with questions and take orders by phone.
• Monitor quality and shrink; manage inventories and records.
• Prepare, wrap, price, sell and stock products continuously.
